Chicago Flower & Garden Show, Navy Pier

I was chosen to create the entryway art piece for this year's Chicago Flower and Garden Show at Navy Pier, following the theme 'The Art of Gardening.' This custom installation is composed of 13 salvaged glass windows that I have painted and suspended to hang in front of a living wall. The final size measures about 12' x 12'. This amazing opportunity has brought me much press as well, including a segment on NBC News with Leeann Trotter and a feature on NBC Today. Here is a link for show information.

Bike Art Show!

This is my submission for the 16th Annual Chicago Bike Art Show, hosted by Galerie F in Logan Square this year! You can expect to see all bike-themed and inspired work across all medias. Submissions include painting, print, installation, sculpture, photography, video, craft and fashion.

A Decade of You Are Beautiful, Art Show

This is my submission for the upcoming You Are Beautiful show at the Green Exchange, Chicago. This powerful message has been spreading the past 10 years, generating countless art projects to beautify neighborhoods around the world. The show includes a selection of those works and highlights all of the artists who have supported the campaign. 

Tree Commission

This is a recent painting I created for a couple in Michigan. The window was salvaged from the Chicago suburbs. The real challenge was working with various line weights and the overall balance of the tree.

Lululemon Installed

My painting is now permanently hanging at the Bucktown, Chicago Lululemon store.

M.A.S.K. Project

100 artists were invited to participate in the M.A.S.K. Project (Math + Art + Science for Kids) - which will all be auctioned to benefit the DuPage Childrens Museum in March. Mine is also signed by country singer, Sara Evans.

Vine Commission

This piece was created for a family in Oak Park. I was commissioned to paint one of the original windows from their house, built in 1909. 

Lululemon, Chicago

I recently partnered with Lululemon! This custom tryptic is being installed in the Bucktown location this week. All typography is freehand painted: 'Living in the Moment could be the Meaning of Life'. The windows are salvaged from Chicago alleys.

My biggest show is right around the corner! This year marks my 4th year exhibiting at the annual One of a Kind Show Chicago, one of the best holiday shopping events. More than 600 artists will be participating this year, exhibiting their handmade creations. I will be showing all new glass window paintings, mini type pieces and flower pots. I have also received great press for this show, as I am featured on their homepage, as well as in Michigan Avenue Magazine.

I am in love with this old barn frame. It was cleaned up a lot and transformed into a working canvas for this new commission.

This is a diptych painting of bronze ginkgo leaves I recently finished. It was placed in a ginkgo-themed living room outside of Chicago.

Gold Tryptic Commission

This recent commission was created from 3 picture frames salvaged from the flea market. The buyer intended to keep one, while gifting the other two pieces to his father and brother.

Flea Market

I had an awesome run at the flea market yesterday. I managed to haul over 60 frames back to the studio - all very used, old and full of character. These are going to make great canvases for upcoming shows.
